Is there a possibility that GPIO29 or GPIO24 are playing a role in this ?
Is there any code in PicoMite that actually does something with these pins (maybe in TinyUSB to detect presence)..?
In case No-One ignores these pins, and MMBasic is smarter, that could have impact. And it may be different when a hub is used.
Another thing: is there a relation possible with CPU speed. Both firmwares use the same hardware platform, but may have a completely different clock structure.
