When I emailed Sig this morning, I suggested it would be great to have an ability to enter a user variable value from +20W to -20W so a user can either set to never export or never import at idle by choice. And depending on the quality of the mains you could set/trim to a lower value for your situation to waste less of your storage.  Ill post their response....

Look forward to their response.  FYI, some other inverters already support export limit set points similar to your idea.  It's not a perfect solution but it may be good enough for your needs since you don't need absolute zero export.

In the US, the issue is most severe for off-grid systems (i.e. no interconnection agreement and no intention to export to grid) that connect to the grid as input for battery charging and load consumption only but end up with small (~10W) transient exports that get detected for penalties or forced to convert to much more expensive grid-certified equipment and interconnection agreement with associated fees.
