Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

anyone heard of these transformerless GTI
rated at 2KW
here's a link to the spec sheet
http://www.pcmups.com.tw/product/solarking.htm
and the approval to connect it to the grid
http://www.westernpower.com.au/documents/SSRES/SSRES_approve d_inverters.pdf
Have got a quote at $1550 bills to the front door.
others have seen them at a little over a grand (I cant find em that cheap but hey $1550 is cheap)
In comparison to say an SB1100/1700 these, on paper at least are several generations of technology ahead.
Basically with one of these and 10x190W for $4995
plus install hardware (est $700) plus sparkie $800 the lot.
Im out for 1900W GTI system up and running a total of
$8K and rebate is roughly $6300.
Call it all up fully installed 1.9KW system for under $2K.
tough to beat ROI on that......
hell at the end of the day, it will direct save ~$700/pa
in power costs, which even with no rebate would pay back in less time than some advertised systems WITH the rebate!Luck favours the well prepared
