Hi guys

just thought I'd Let you know the panels you are talking about are called CIGS panels and this stands for (copper indium gallium selenide).

It is a thin film technology and it can be applied to any surface by spraying. Cheaper than silicon panels but not as efficient. Best sillicon is around 22% efficient and Best CIGS 15-16% efficient real world numbers.

There talking $2.50/W by 2010 including installation an other costs.

they say in the article:

so lets hope they are not once agan trying to pull tghe wool ovwer the eyes of a gullible public.

CIGS certainly IS looking most promising, with the likes of Honda now devoting almost all their solar PV efforts towards it. Try a Google " CIGS solar" for more insights- that % efficeiency compares with run of the mill 5-10% Si PV apparently. Stan
