So I can edit posts in two of my threads (eg: https://www.thebackshed.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=11087) but not in another: https://www.thebackshed.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=11077&PN=1

Why?

You can edit a post if no one has replied to it.
If there has been a reply, it is a bit unfair to allow the originator to alter his/her initial comments. It can cause major disputes. He said... she said... etc.

There might also be a time limit (or is that another forum).
