I have a 3 phase bore pump of unknown brand, model or rating and would like to know how much power it uses. Can I use my clamp meter to measure the current running through one active phase wire in the fuse box and then just multiply by 3 and then by 240V to get watts consumed or is there another/better/accurate DIY method?
My roadside utility meter only reads to the nearest 1kWh which is not accurate enough.

Rather than telling you, why not google '3 phase power calculation'?.
This way you might learn something rather than being told. And no, its not 3 times what you plan to measure.
