A good way to re-cycle an Android type mobile.
Connect it to the house WIFI, find a free radio station App, e.g. TuneIn Radio. Connect the phone to your home entertainment centre via the headset output and voila - the world's radio stations. Plug in a charger and the data download is minimal. I have done this for a few of my friends and they love having music of their choice 24/7 by genre, location etc. Mostly 50s, 60s and Oldies of course.
