Well, well well. I went to order some more FRAM chips from Element 14, and the chips I on-sold to you, jman, have more then doubled in price! 
I bought them for me and you to play about with at NZ$7.48 a chip. Element 14 are now listing them for NZ$15.81 each, and that is "On special"! I won't be buying them from Element 14 at that price. They are funny people, Element 14. Sometimes their prices are really, really good for certain things, and then other times, there prices for things get drastically enflated - usually by a factor of 200% or more, for no apparent reason..... Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops! |

its often worth getting in touch with them about it. especially if you can point to digikey or mouser with cheaper pricing for the same part. |
