yeah , it just seems to be a script on the server here to save space . I only restrict by kb on my forums, and they auto thumb nail. I'm working on the console to have a serial terminal like interface . I hoe to get started on a X axis for a flatbed scanner i'm overhauling to be just for this laser . it's an old HP that my brother cant use anymore, but the stepper motor inside is just fine . ![]() making bigger dedicated laser bed . This one uses more parts from ando . ( big stepper on top ) got the app where I can send single lines or G Code . everything in the sys console is sent back to the app from a Arduino Nano . ![]() Old coder, and bodger of things that may spark. |

found a bit of backlash in my y axis. ![]() that's a salvaged DVD diode . it has to go way slower cut through in 1 pass. Old coder, and bodger of things that may spark. |

made the switch to a violet laser module. I have tested a fer laser types now , and i like this one only 300mw but the smaller wavelength really helps. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHVDCP1o2Kg i have got most of the Y axis backlash sorted by adding a tensioner bolt to the belt on the old slack end. i think the backlash is less than a 0.25mm now. i may simply have to account for it in my firmware when it detects a axis direction change. I may just move to GBRL later too . Old coder, and bodger of things that may spark. |
