Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

G'day Bruce, Sketchup comes to mind mate and an older version maybe a heap easier to learn too as the new version does look too glossy and be difficult to learn.
Also Autocad has a free version but then go for an earlier release, I found autocad2004 to be the best one I liked as it just does what you want without all the bells and whistles and oh the learning curve.
It all comes down to what you want to draw too as Paint can do a good job and it should be sitting on your computer waiting to be used.
Cheers Bryan

Yep, paint is very versatile once you get to know all its tricks. It's all I use for schematics and the like. Even made a components library to speed things up, and you can scale it to be.....well, in scale. Also does not a bad job with PC boards if like me, you do hand made centre punch paper over lays. Cheers Pete'.

Been playing around with my tower ,put an extra set of guys on ,the Exmork is around 80 Kg ,so she's much heavier than the Ol F&P from wayback. My tower is pushing 60 feet ,so she's fairly tall.
yeah, been trying to teach myself drawing with the 'puter for many years on and off , but the Ol stuff in my head is mostly blank ,nowdays..
Thanks for the replies, Bryan , good to hear from you ,Ol fart ,hope you are well.
