Now that I have this web site running on my home server, I want to invest in a better UPS for when the lights go out. I have a small 300VA model, runs on a single 12va7 gell cell, so good for 10 to 15 minutes. But I need something that can keep the server, router and hub online for at lease a couple of hours. I havn't bought a new UPS for 10 years or more, so dont know what brands to go fo. Ideally something that I can plug extra batteries into would be handy, I did try that with my current UPS but it gets upset in standby mode, it thinks there is a battery fault when it tries to charge it. I can run a lead from my inverter and battery bank, but I would prefer something that doesn't need me around to swich stuff over. Any suggestions.
