Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

I have been putting up with a worn out MIG torch on my little welder for a couple of years now. The outer casing that carries the shielding gas is officially beyond repair, no amount of vulcanising patches will resurrect it.
As usual, I can not buy the cable on its own.
So I ordered a complete Bernard assembly. Knock off copy of course, because the OEM replacement assembly for my model is no longer available.
My welding supplies shop got sent some Genuine 300 amp Bernard guns instead of the copies from their supplier. And only about $70 extra.
I am beginning to believe in Santa again.
I'm confused, no wait... maybe I'm not...

Well that should make the sparks fly.
Im still cursing my last mistake of replacing the 15kg roll of wire where i picked it up from one side of the spool and the spool split in the centre, expanding the roll now it feeds wire when it feels like it, and normally binds up right at the very important part of the project weld.
Im still hoping to get enough use off the roll of wire before i need to rewind it onto a empty spool not looking forward to that
