A 3D printer like these would be handy to make some of the bits that are designed to break after a set number of pushes or uses. I have not seen one yet that will print metal parts however. But I guess you could use the plastic printed part to make a mould and then use die cast aluminium or your preferred metal into the mould for your finished product. A mini foundry, not an item for the faint hearted and not something to be taken lightly either. On a small scale how much harder would it be than making sinkers and casting numbers/letters? Mark |
