Am I the only one being distracted by those babes in bikinis in the ads at the top right of the forums?

I think Gizmo needs to be more thoughtful of the ads placed here - they are a distraction to the normal mental process that is the root of threads here.

(I know that Gizmo has no real say on the ads - they are what they are)

Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops!

Yep, I dont have much say on what adds are placed. I have blocked a few categories, like religious, gambling, dating, weight loss, etc, but even those types of ads can sneak though the system until Google jumps on them.

If your starting out fresh with a web site of your own I wouldn't recommend the google ads anymore. They will do me until I have the time to look at other options, which is the long term plan, but the revenue is 1/10 of what it was 5 years ago. To give you an idea, the site has about 1500 hits a day, and earns enough to buy a MacDonalds burger, without fries or drink. I keep the ads going because they pay for the sites hosting and I can claim it on tax, but there is no money it it.

But hey, if the ads have bikini babes occasionally, then may as well enjoy the scenery

Hey Grogs
I'm missing out. I could do with my mental processes, what's left of them, being distracted.

I use IE11 and I used to use an ad blocker but I took it off recently. I still don't see what you've been seeing even when I use Chrome. Maybe what you see is an NZ special.
