Just curious if anyone besides me has invested in Raspberry Pi Holdings PLC - RPBPF ?

A little background, which you’ll find on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raspberry_Pi

The Raspberry Pi Foundation was a created as a private company in 2008 and registered as a charity in 2009
The first Raspberry Pi SBC was released in February 29, 2012
In 2012, the company was split into two, with Raspberry Pi Trading with Ebon Upton as CEO, in charge of developing the hardware. Raspberry Pi Foundation continued as an education charity.
On March 12, 2024 RPBPF became a publicly traded holding company with Eben Upton as CEO.

There is some investor information at https://investors.raspberrypi.com
There is an online investor meeting on April 2, 2025 - link at the bottom of the investor page.

Unlike most public companies, there is virtually no investor information at most brokerages and the company is not covered by analysts. Today it’s trading at $6.70 per share.
I own 35 shares.

Hmm, 143 views and not a single comment. Considering the popularity of the Pico and Pico 2 on this forum, I expected some response.

The only shares I own (and not many of them) were given to me when my mortgage company was bought by a bank. They earn very little. I can't afford to buy more and I'll be charged a selling fee if I want to sell them. It's a bit of a lose-lose situation. :) I may as well leave them alone.

In case you ever want rid of them you can donate them to charity.

I certainly considered adding a holding to my portfolio, but tracking shows this to be a rather volatile investment.  Looking at the data, the share price has been falling steadily for the last three months. Year high was 780p; year low was 316p. (UK pence). Trading today at 481p.  This is a risky one - and there are no dividends paid out to generate income.  Only for the brave...

Appreciate the feedback. I agree the financials are largely unknown because the company does not post periodic updates. I will be viewing the April 2 investor presentation.

I recall that the launch of the 2350 series caused some hype but then this was brought back down again when the faults on the silicon moved from rumour to fact.  I understand that this was due to changes introduced without authorisation from a third party contractor, but it introduced uncertainty into the quality control chain.  I think that this confidence is unlikely to regain traction until another generation of successful chips has been developed - and proven to be successful.
