I've tested your boxEditor with German "Umlaute" (ÄöÜüß...) and Martins converted Font and the workaround for detecting the correct german keys (ÄäÖöÜüß) on the keyboard. I don't know if this also works for USB, for now it is only for a PS/2 keyboard. You can now write normal german umlaute on a normal german keyboard: ![]() Program: edbox_german.zip P.S. Peter63, I totally forgot to mention, I love the blinking cursor!! Greetings Daniel |

I have several ideas that I often have in my head. Often and sometimes I write a simple routine that I know I have to solve to solve a larger project. For example, I have a MIDI drum sequencer that I thought would be able to send MIDI data to a self-built MIDI interface. Another project that I am testing and have come quite far with is a simpler CAD program, starting to become something, but both of these projects will take the time it takes. Just glad I can help, with a little programming. /Peter63 |

Wow a CAD program? This is impressive! Yes, the boxEditor is extremly helpful. Now with this basis, I am trying to implement real text-editor behavior (for enter & backspace for example, that it allows to push the text down and up (preserving the text). With your excellent commentation of the code it should be good possible for me ![]() Greetings Daniel |
