I've tested your boxEditor with German "Umlaute" (ÄöÜüß...) and Martins converted Font and the workaround for detecting the correct german keys (ÄäÖöÜüß) on the keyboard. I don't know if this also works for USB, for now it is only for a PS/2 keyboard. You can now write normal german umlaute on a normal german keyboard: ![]() Program: edbox_german.zip P.S. Peter63, I totally forgot to mention, I love the blinking cursor!! Greetings Daniel |

I have several ideas that I often have in my head. Often and sometimes I write a simple routine that I know I have to solve to solve a larger project. For example, I have a MIDI drum sequencer that I thought would be able to send MIDI data to a self-built MIDI interface. Another project that I am testing and have come quite far with is a simpler CAD program, starting to become something, but both of these projects will take the time it takes. Just glad I can help, with a little programming. /Peter63 |

Wow a CAD program? This is impressive! Yes, the boxEditor is extremly helpful. Now with this basis, I am trying to implement real text-editor behavior (for enter & backspace for example, that it allows to push the text down and up (preserving the text). With your excellent commentation of the code it should be good possible for me Greetings Daniel |
