Hello all,

I ordered a Maximite about a week ago from Richtech.nz (I paid via PayPal and received confirmation from Graeme that the payment was received and that the Maximite would be sent to me in France within a couple of days).

Since I have not heard anything new after that original exchange (I was supposed to get an email with a tracking number), I sent a follow-up email yesterday asking for any updates, but have not received a reply (yet).

I am wondering if anyone else has ordered from Rictech. What is your experience? Should I worry, or is such a delay totally normal? (I do not mind waiting at all—I just like to know what to expect.)

Thank you for sharing your insights - I never ordered anything from NZ before, so your feedback is helpful!

You don't need to worry, unless he's gone under a bus, I have every confidence you will be getting your device.

Hi Gadgetguy,

I have ordered several times from Richtech.nz. Never had a problem. You could however face import duties depending on the relation between France and New Zealand. In my last order the shipment was held at customs, I received a message to pay import duties and administration fee, and after that the package was released, and I had it in possession in 48 hrs.

So watch out for a letter from customs if the package is delayed long.

How come no-one is making the connection? Rictech.nz is Grogster.

Never a problem with my deliveries, here in UK.

Me TOOOO Grogster has always sent my orders.

sometime it was slow boat "ship" and takes time to get to me.
other times it was by air and got it very fast.

Yes, you emailed me to see if I had the order, I confirmed that, but have been a little delayed last week.  Your order is all packaged and will ship tomorrow - you should also have now received an email to that effect complete with tracking number.

I'm a one-man-band business, and can't always send things the very next day from the date you order, but rest assured I do process all orders ASAP.

Thank you to all who backed me up on this one.
