Not needed, even when running the ARM CPU at 125MHz, the UART can do 7.8Mbaud.
Below is from the RP2040 datasheet.

Holy moly. When I saw 2M Baud, I am sure that I went to the data sheet and found "921,600"

Another senior moment, I guess
