Hi, is there something like the GWBASIC MERGE command in MMBASIC? I would like to load small code snippets (which are not worth loading into the library) into a current program. Frank |

Hi Frank, if you're using an HDMI version, have you tried my version of the HDMI-FileManager (Javavis FM)? Or the MERGE function (alt F9) of the FileManager? https://www.thebackshed.com/forum/ViewTopic.php?TID=17283&P=20#246808 Best regards Michael Shouldn't the built-in editor in version 6.020 already be able to do that, or have I missed something? Built in editor. "Finally, F9 can be used to INSERT the contents of a file at the current cursor position. Press F9 and you will be prompted for the name of a file and when you press return the file will be INSERTed." |

@twofingers: I use miniFM from dddns ( https://www.thebackshed.com/forum/ViewTopic.php?FID=16&TID=18365 ) @Bleep: I have version V6.02.00 here – unfortunately, the editor does not respond at all when I press F9 or ALT + F9... Frank |

Hi Frank, if you're feeling adventurous, you could tr upgrading mini-FM by adopting the merge function from my HDMI version. However, the data structures are somewhat different. I'm confident you can manage it easily, though. Another option would be the Klingon version (fmvt0203-Klingon.zip) of FileManager, which apparently includes the merge function and should at least work with Teraterm. In my HDMI version, I'll probably also remove the cut/merge and replace functions, as they're redundant due to the new editor features. causality ≠ correlation ≠ coincidence |
