Hello, community, I was so impressed by the new BBC sound engine that I decided to create sounds for Geoff's game blocks. The engine not only generates the melody but also uses various sound envelopes to make the playback more varied. I also tried to replicate the game’s tempo. It’s best to try it out for yourself. You can toggle the debug output on and off with the “s” key. The gameplay has been adjusted so that it now progresses in the old GB style. Peter, I’m still hoping for a real fuel gauge with a numerical value. Unfortunately, you didn’t respond to my suggestion in the “PicoMite V6.03.02 Betas” thread. I think that would have simplified the implementation here. Have fun! If you hear any incorrect output, the debug values will help me troubleshoot. I’m keen to hear your views. Hi Matthias, It runs on a 2040VGA. But the bass is very distorted. Thursday I can get to my PC3 and check if it is similar there. Tested on V60400rc0. It is not CPU speed related (when I run 378MHz, it is the same as 252MHz). Regards, Volhout Edited 2026-09-22 17:14 by Volhout PicomiteVGA PETSCII ROBOTS |
