Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Dont judge me... ;-)

Bought a PicoMiteHDMIUSB from ebay.   Arrived in good order.

Soldered Pico2
Remembered the 4 pads on the back (paste and flux)
Flashed the firmware
Boots to HDMI - all good.

No USB.

Re-flowed the pads on the back
No joy.

Removed R54 and R55 (as per original thread)
No joy.

Went back to assuming the pads on the back.
Reflowed - no joy.  Reflowed again and again....... eventually either too much solder underneath or I melted something - board shorted out, with even the heartbeat led now flaky.

Wont flash now - not detected....

Anyway, 3hrs of shed based Sunday joy listening to a chilled playlist....

UK --- Does anyone have an assembled PicoMiteHDMIUSB or Pico Computer 3 that they would be willing/able to part with?   Time to upgrade from my trusty Pico 1 VGA.

DM me a price ;-)

Eyesight shot, even with magnifying glasses and not as steady handed as used to be.

Cheers
