Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

As a retired 46 kV electrician and programmer I cannot see the "Page 1 of 466 > >|"
placed on the top right of every page.
25 years ago the young electricians and PLC troubleshooters that I trained said that I needed an OGF - Old Guy Font.

TBH I think it would be good, especially on pages where images or large fonts have stretched the page so that the arrows have been pushed off the RHS of the browser window. I'm inherently lazy and it would save me having to scroll across. We don't all have wide enough displays, even with standard fonts. :)

An alternative system that I've seen is that you always land on the last page of a thread, not the first, so you always see the most recent posts without having to manually select the last page.

Probably way to late to make changes like this to this forum.

I can land on the first or last post - each from the Normal Topics page.  Just choose the topic (left of page) or the link at the right of the topic.
