Is it possible to use the pic32 to invert TTL serial ?

I think you use a comparator and come back out again ?

Firmware ?

Basic command ?

Pin assignment ?

TTL GPS not uart compatible need to invert

Hi Andrew,

To Read/Write/Both?

TTL levels required or 3.3v levels.

Hi Andrew,

the easiest way to invert signal polarity is using a npn transistor ie 2N3904 with a collector resistor 4k7 to 10k connected to +3.3V and ~ 10k resisor coonted between GPS Tx and trasistor base.
This will work as signal inerter and voltage level converter as well.
