Hi Folks, I am using TassieJim's MM Edit program with my DM Mega and it's great. Is anyone else using it with a USB connection to their PC? If so, is there anyway to to have the interaction with the DM the same way as with TerraTerm? I have a program that sends all the output to the display using print @ (which works fine in TerraTerm) but with the MM Basic interactive window, I get all the Escape codes printed rather than processed as per a VT100 emulation on TerraTerm? MM Edit v 2.0.3 and MM Basic V4.0 ... almost all of the Maximites, the MicromMites, the MM Extremes, the ArmMites, the PicoMite and loving it! |

Not at the moment but is something I have been actively thinking about. I know that I have no hope of emulating TerraTerm but I want to have the option on basic VT commands recognised. I am also playing with a method of detecting when you unplug the MM with the comms window open to stop the rather dramatic crash which occurs at the moment. I have made some progress but Microchip seem to be the only USB-serial device that I cannot reliably get 'Windows messages' from! I am VERY busy with a family matter for the foreseeable future so I will not try to gave a timeline. Jim VK7JH MMedit |
