Is this THIS LCD compatible? I'm toying with the idea of buying a snadpic and one of these displays |

Based on a quick review of their downloaded doc - the answer is NO. It seems to have a non-standard pinout |

Thanks for that, I never thought of looking for the pinout in the manual After looking at the uMite advanced features, I "Think" This one should work perfectly? |

Yes it should. The only issue is that it seems to use the 3.3V supply to drive the backlight and that takes a lot of power. Compare this one which has a second power pin for a 5V supply which is used for the backlight No big deal but may be worth thinking about |

Hallo experts, I would like to use my monitor for both HDMI (from my PCs) and also for the CMM2-VGA via my KVM switch. My KVM switch has HDMI video inputs, so a VGA-HDMI converter could be connected between KVM switch and the CMM2. Has anyone tried connecting a CMM2 to such a KVM switch (HDMI inputs) via a VGA-HDMI adapter for using only one monitor? Does this makes sense, or are there any reasons not to do so? Wolfgang |

Wow, talk about reviving a very old thread. You might have better luck starting a new topic. BTW, I have had great success with VGA-HDMI adapters but have not tested them with a KVM switch. Geoff Geoff Graham - http://geoffg.net |

Yes, I agree - A thread this old(10 and a bit YEARS!), should not have been added on to. The member should really have started a new thread. ![]() @ Wolfgang - can you please copy your question into a new thread. I will lock this thread, cos we really don't want new posts showing up on a ten year old thread! ![]() Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops! |
