tenij000, I bought my board from tinytronics.nl. Check the TinyTronics section at Olimex for the price including VAT. So far, no problems with the latest firmware. The width of the PCB pin spacing isn't exactly 0.1 inches if you want to mount it on a 0.1-inch hole board, and you'll need to take that into account when designing your own board. See the PDF for a breadboard solution. Olimex RP2350B-XXL.pdf Regards, Jan. |

Are the pins on 2mm pitch rather than the usual 2.54mm? That's becoming more common on cheap boards. Mind you, double rows of pins aren't breadboard friendly anyway. Matherp's solution is better if you want a breadboard. Mick Zilog Inside! nascom.info for Nascom & Gemini Preliminary MMBasic docs & my PCB designs |

Mick, They are indeed dual 2.54mm pin strips, so that's not the problem. However, when I place the RP2350B-XXL board on a 0.1-inch perforated board, the opposite pin strip doesn't align with the perforated board, and the pins end up between two holes. (Too bad for a project on perforated boards.) The version I received is the PICO2-XXL Rev. B, which omits some capacitors and uses SD MISO=GP24. (My board doesn't yet have the RP2350B A4.) And you're right that Matherp's solution is better, but I only need one board, and the price is good with local shipping for a complete board with all pins available, including an SD card holder, and for a test with the RP2350B with PSRAM and 8 ADCs. Regards, Jan. |

So they arranged the pins to be half a hole out? Excellent! Well Done! ;) Mick Zilog Inside! nascom.info for Nascom & Gemini Preliminary MMBasic docs & my PCB designs |

A work-around is to cut the perforated board in half. |
