This looks like a good base for projects which don't try to replicate Peter's excellent 64-pin DIL PCB.

With the USB connector down, the right 2 rows of pins effectively replicate the Pico 1 pins, with their respective functions.

$4.99USD if 3 purchased from Aliexpress:

The EasyCad footprint is available in the Standard (not Pro) version under "User Contributed" as WeActStudio.RP2350BCoreBoard (I couldn't find it under Pro):

In EasyCAD:

PicoMite, Armmite F4, SensorKits, MMBasic Hardware, Games, etc. on fruitoftheshed

Can you provide a link to that board, I searched on AliExpress and couldn't locate that particular one.

Thanks.

It's weird. This takes me to where the module is one of many:

https://www.aliexpress.us/w/wholesale-WeAct-RP2350B-.html

When I click on it, it takes me to a "Dollar Express" page on which it is also one item of many.

When I click on that, I can order the module (but I never get to a page on which I can see specifications).

I've ordered 3 of them.

I can't find it from the UK at all. Everything is swamped by STM32 versions.

Hey Mick, I use the AliExpress app and typing WeAct in the search, brings up "WeAct Studio official store"

Their boards always have a beautiful finish, anyone know if there is an option when ordering JLCPCB to get similar?

I'm ancient, wary and refuse to put apps for this and that on my phone. I'm traceable enough without inviting stuff in.  :)

Nope, that link doesn't go there from the UK. Even if I strip the URL down to what looks right. Thanks for trying anyway.

This gets me to the store, and the module is there, but clicking on it still takes me to a "Dollar Express" page where I can click on the module and order, but not a typical Aliexpress item page:

https://www.aliexpress.us/w/wholesale-WeAct-store.html

It does make me wonder if this is a module which will continue to be produced.

I'm getting a "Love Delivers" page, not a WeAct page. It lists several WeAct items but they are all STM32, CANFD, Mini Debugger and ESP32. Not much WeAct and no WeAct RP stuff at all.

Yes, the page I get is "Love Delivers", but the RP2350 is the upper leftmost item:

If I click on that, I get the "Dollar Express" page which also has the module (among others), and if I click on that, I can order it.

(Mick--while you're here, what do you think would be the best way to break out the 8 analog pins on a 99mm x 99mm PCB? Single with 3V3 & 0V, or grouped somehow?)

Mick, the link works perfectly for me, currently in Blackburn. I'm using the duckduckgo browser.

I've just looked again (waterfox browser) and top left is the Epaper module. :)
I'll try again tomorrow.

You are ok just bringing the ADC signals straight out. Try to keep them away from noise such as the 5V rail and video signals if you can. If you can't then try to cross them at right angles on the other side of the pcb. I like to run a direct GND from the closest connection on the module with them so that you aren't sharing an ADC ground with anything else. Note that GP47 is used for PSRAM_CS on some modules by default and you may need to make changes if you want all 8 ADC channels.
