Didn't want to continue this in the AI thread and I was going to start a thread about it after I learned more but here is my summary thus far:

-High-side driver that can be driven directly from the MCU
-Voltage range 4V to 28V
-No need for fusing due to short-circuit/overcurrent protection
-Can detect open-circuit, short-circuit
-LCSC has thousands
-The 16pin model (higher current) < $1
-Analog feedback with EN which allows many devices to feed a single ADC.

Interesting chip, thanks!

I've often used chips like the Toshiba TBD62783Axx for high side driving. Eight channels in an 18 pin chip. Less protection and no feedback than yours, but more channels...
