Hi Does anyone know of a manufacturer that offers the RP2350B “with all GPIOs,” Wi-Fi, and WebMite compatibility? I've only found ones with Python compatibility. Regards Gerad |

It doesn't seem to be the hardware. Waveshare (https://docs.zephyrproject.org/latest/boards/waveshare/rp2350b_plus_w/doc/index.html) works with Python. WeAct works with a retrofitted “Infineon Airoc CYW43439” using MicroPython (https://www.micropython.org/download/WEACTSTUDIO_RP2350B_CORE/) or CircuitPython (https://circuitpython.org/board/weact_studio_rp2350b_core/). What could “JLCPCB” do better? I think it’s a matter of software support in “WebMite.” Gerad |

Gerad, I can't believe the shipping cost. I had 2 "pico plus 2W" plus some other minor stuff delivered about 4 weeks ago to Austria. The shipping was about 27€ IIRC. The cost for shipping to germany should be essentially the same. There was an additional bill from the shipping company of abt 10€ for customs a few days later. Did use PayPal for settlement. WeAct RP2350B CORE will run MMBasic quite happily. Same with the Pimoroni PGA2350B and (I hope) the Waveshare Core 2350B. Just add a RM2 module for wi-fi in all cases. The problem is with wi-fi compatibility. The RM2 is a Raspberry Pi product so you get compatibility with the Webmite. Nothing else can be guaranteed. You can get RM2 from Adafruit, Pimoroni, The PiShop, Rapid Electronics, Farnell, TME, BerryBase, reichelt, BCD Atlantik and probably loads of other places. Of course, a PCB will help too. :) . Mick, Without Wi-Fi, the “WeAct RP2350B CORE” works great with MMBasic. But according to Peter, the combination of the “WeAct RP2350B CORE” and a retrofitted Infineon AIROC CYW43439 “RM2” doesn't work with Webmite 6.04.00RC1. That surprises me a little, but as the creator of Webmite, he surely knows better. Gerad |

It doesn't surprise me in the least. When manufacturers build things in they choose their own way to control them and rely on pin definitions from C and Python libraries. The built-in RM2 is fine, but only if you use their library. Mick Zilog Inside! nascom.info for Nascom & Gemini |
