hi,
1 . can anyone recommend a Gps Hardware for the Maximite ?

2. why have Composite not the same Resolution as VGA ?
Have anyone changed the composite Resolution in the source ?

Any serial GPS that outputs the standard NMEA sentences should do.

Composite has to match the number of lines that the monitor expects so the resolution was set by the composite standard PAL or NTSC.
VGA is also a standard and it is unfortunate that they are different but thats the way it is.
You probably could change the bit rate to get a different number of pixels per line but that would upset the aspect ratio too much.
