I have a project in mind.. My car is a Commodore VS Series II Equipe (1996) with A 3.8L Ecotec engine in it. Now this system uses a ALDL 8192 diagnostic system that one can tap into and get lots of interesting details about the car's normal running. Prob is that the interface uses 8192 baud and I am curious how I can get the Maximite to read this. Any suggestions. Dave Coding Coding Coding.. Keep those keyboards coding.. RAW CODE!!!!! |

When I was using PIC chips in stand alone mode, I would get the baud rate divider values and work it back to the crystal freq You could put a different rock on board. Although that will also modify the CPU speed. Can you bit bang ? - Andrew - Andrew Rich VK4TEC www.tech-software.net |

Ver 3.1A (due out in a week or two) will support non standard baudrates on the DuinoMite hardware UARTs. Geoff Geoff Graham - http://geoffg.net |

Can a baud rate of 31250 be achieved on the Maximite? If so that would open up the world of MIDI & music to all. I think Duinomite can do this baud rate? rob |
