I am following the other (similiar) thread closely too as I think it is about time I moved away from Protel 99se...

Whilst I am familiar with Protel and work uses it for their designs (few and far between) it is not compatible with windows 7 and requires hacks to get it to read/write libraries and the libs are out of date and anything modern has to be created from Scratch.
