This is not a new idea, but I have always been intrigued by those HDD clocks on YouTube. Apparently, they are not that hard to make, but you need a reasonably zippy MCU. I asked about this on the PICAXE forums a few years ago, but the general consensus was that PICAXE is not fast enough.

With the MM's zippy 40MHz speed, perhaps even at full throttle at 48MHz, would a MM-controlled HDD clock be possible do you think?
