Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi Martin,
were you able to determine the accuracy of the supply metering? This could be done by examining the equipment rating for the aircon, probably the biggest load. If the aircon is 10-20kW rated, then the figs are probably right. If the house was not designed for airconditioning, then retrofitting with an aircon will require additional insulation and probable changes to glazing and curtains etc. This may explain the high power usages.
Get back with some info and this may help. .. .. Gordon.become more energy aware
