Hi guys…..!!! I am new here …!!! Let me introduce my self, my name is Usman, not “U.S” MAN…..hehe. I’m from Pakistan (South Asia). Well, Pakistan is a third world country and that’s the reason why I am here because it has been 5 times today that electricity has gone. It is one of the biggest problems of third world countries. A small group of people in every government is against Dams locations, so “No Dams” “No Electricity”, and people are still suffering as Pakistan is now 60. So, to help ourselves, I and most of the guys want to solve this problem. That’s a little about me. Hope you guys will welcome me and help me in this regard as I am just a beginner and now days researching on different designs of “Wind Mill” which will be a homemade and generating enough power to light a floor, only. Thank you. ~Hakuna Matata~ |

Hi Glenn Thanks for your reply..! Yup.. I really like Cricket, now a days enjoying watching IPL.. ![]() Well I got a problem, that there is no dealer of "Fisher and Paykel" in Pakistan, these guys have there dealers all around the world may be in Antarctica too...lolx but not in Asia anywhere, so can you guide me what can I do in this regard? ![]() Note: Also, "Hakuna Matata" is a word of a language may be Russian which means "No Problem" but you can still use it as my nick name but use full word like if you use only "Hakuna" its mean "no or nothing" or if u use "Matata" as my nick name its means "trouble or problem" and I think I'm "Something" and still not a "Problem".... ![]() Usman ~Hakuna Matata~ |

Hi Usman ![]() If the F&P is hard to get localy, consider some of the other windmill alternator options. Can you source DC motors, the higher voltage the better, like 120 volts or 240 volts. Those electric treadmills are one source. This sort of DC motor make good windmill generators. Another option is converting an induction motor into an alternator. This is done my machining down the armature and fitting magnets. See what you can find and let us know. Glenn The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is right now.
