Great site. I am doing something very similar in the UK. I have a bit to learn yet - but i am making good progress on my new DIY renewable energy website www.gotwind.org I am interested in small scale wind generators - I like the micro wind generator on this site based on a piece of PVC tube. I am currently developing a 6 blade version. I love the Fisher & Paykel Smartdrive motors - I wish there were some available in the UK to experiment with. Keep up the good work. Ben www.gotwind.org |

Hi Ben, Hows things over in the old UK. I will get over there one day, my Mum is from the UK. I like the work your doing with the bike dynamos. And that single blade prop is cool. Looks like we have similar interrests. Glenn The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is right now. JAQ |

Hi Glenn. The Uk is pretty cold at the moment - 7 degrees C. Plenty of wind though ![]() If you are coming to the UK, prehaps you could put a Fisher and Pykel smartdrive motor in your suitcase for me to play with - only joking. Keep up the good work Regards Ben www.gotwind.org www.gotwind.org |
