Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi all
Picked up my first complete LG today and it cost $5 .
Very heavy machine with similar characteristics to F and P
Has anyone actually tested one in a practical way ?

Dennis,
Great score.
I've not heard any reports on a completed LG wind gen yet. They've been talked about but that's all. Looking forward to your progress stories and pics.

Dennis,

Could you post a picture of the machine or the type nr. ? Can keep an eye open that way if I come across one.

F&P are virtually non-existent over here, but LG is pretty common.

Thanks Jarbar. I got the link working before Glenn corrected it; seems the board software sometimes puts a 'space' in the hyperlink (in this case between in 'T[space]ID').

Will be keeping an eye open for anything branded 'LG' and smartdrive/directdrive.Edited by Dinges 2008-08-27

Somewhere back in this forum I posted a list of all the LG model numbers that use the smartdrive copy.

The list comes from the LG parts site and might save you driving to far only to find it's the wrong one.
