Hi feix62k A few years ago I was selling some lasercut steel splines for the F&P shaft, but they were costing more to make than I was selling them for. Recently I've been playing around with some plates cut on a waterjet, a nicer finish than the laser cut parts. Will let everyone know in a few weeks if I will be selling them. Trev does sell a aluminum spline, very strong. http://www.thebackshed.com/FoundryAndFibreglass Other options are to weld a plate to the shaft ( but this means filing down the ridge half way down so the shaft can slide out of the two bearings from one end ), taperlocks, or use a Toyota ( Toyota Corolla 1967 to 1974 KE3 ) drive shaft spline with a couple of grub screws. Use the forum search for "toyota". Glenn The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is right now. JAQ |

G'day feix62k, I made a prop hub using the spline from the F&P agitator. It worked well, in fact it's still working now. I guess a lot depends on your skills and resources. here's a link to the old thread. Link I hope you find something to suit. was working fine... til the smoke got out. Cheers Gill _Cairns, FNQ |
