look for a treadmill motor. They are quite easy to find.
Try to get one with lower RPM's. Some seem to run upwards of 5000 RPM's. I found one that is
15 amps
90 volts DC 3.5 H.P.
3,600 RPM's

I reaches 20 volts @ 1100 RPM's. so I belt drive it with
1 to 2.5 ratio, 4 blades 5 foot. It work not bad.

An axial flux would work better. But I had to try it.

This motor, and a similar motor on the same EBay link are 130V@3200rpm. I noted 15A on one rating plate. These could be used in a 6-12V system at appprox 100-150W Max output. Bear in mind that probably more than half the power output will just heat the windings.

The treadmill motors keep being touted as good for windmill applications, but the rating plates suggest otherwise.
