Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me. |

The model numbers wont mean much to us unfortunately. Can you take a picture of the motors? Or tell us what the name plate on the motors themselves say? Glenn The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is right now. JAQ

Hi Gizmo, Unfortunately I only know the model numbers as I don't have the actual washers. Well if someone can help great, if not no lost sleep. Thanks in any case.

Hi crazyk, Why limit the model numbers to just washing machines! become more energy aware

Whirlpool Model: 6ALBR5233JQ This motor has a start and a run circuit, changed by a centrifugal switch. Also low and high speed. It also uses a start capacitor too. A non permanet magnet type motor. Whirlpool 5132E This one uses the same motor as the above machine. Hoover HP6150 Front Load Washer. This one does not ring a bell for me, sorry.

Thanks all and especially grub for the info. I've found a F&P LW085K that has a smartdrive in it so I'll try and get my hands on it I think. Cheers
