Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

This is the avarage voltage that the little fishing reel genny makes. My question is will this be enough to charge a AA batt. or do the mA have to match the batt.
And do I have to have a dump load on this to work?
thanks fellas, Dave If your not living on the edge your taking up to much space!

Interesting Idea. Very creative, and good recycling skills.
Kinda getting a crook neck tho.
Regarding charging the AA batteries, refer website pages -
http://www.thebackshed.com/windmill/assemblyMini1.asp
Electrical is on page 3.
I reckon you might be able to charge your AA's with this. Use the circuit above and you wont need a dump load. (someone who is more electrically capable may correct be here).
Doesn't the tail bend in the wind ?
