Hey guys,
I have a stepper motor out of a lexmark printer with four wires the resistance on two wires is 6.4 on the other two it is 6.3 is this right and if so how do I wire it? THANKS

hi david

sounds like you have two individual phases (the resistance is usually a few ohms) ..if so putting a bridge rectifier on each reading pair and paralleling (or maybe using a cap to series )the outputs should give you a buzz

...there might be a gearing unit on it which might be fun ...often the bigger the printers the nicer the motors
