Hi Dean Yes 30 volts is good, thats more than the charging voltage for a 12 or 24volt battery. 50mA isn't a lot though, and its the amps that will be doing the work. How big is your stepper motor, approx size? Glenn The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is right now. JAQ |

If you are charging a car battery 50ma will be more damaging then good over time. It will allow the crystals that grow in the battery to be come bigger thus preventing the battery from accepting a full charge. 50ma could be used to float charge (keep a full battery full) maybe, but regular charging no so much. Even remote control car batteries charge with more ampereage. um, maybe a few nicad 1.5 in series, but then there a are even charge issues to deal with. Don't you think Free/Renewable energy should be mandatory in new buildings? |
