Good catch Hugh

I've been looking wistfully at the F&Ps that the guy's are using and lamenting that we in the US and CA did not seem to have access to that goldmine, but it now seems that Sears is private labeling F&Ps under their Kenmore Elite Oasis� brand.

E-mailed a friend up near Windsor who used to be in the appliance business, but he did not seem to have access to any F&P stuff.

Need to get hold of one of the local repair guy's and check that out.

Don't think that too many of the Sears Kenmore Elite units are going to hit the junk pile real soon at ~$1000 USD for that line and fairly recent I think, but there may be other options out there.

Thanks Hugh, also LG have the F&P direct drive motor,i checked one of the buy and sell stores and 1 of the service men has a whole LG washer with the direct drive motor he will sell me for $200.00,brand new seems the people that bought it from them forgot to take all the packing material from around the drum and the electronic board or something burnt out.
He figures that in about 5 years time should lots of those motors to be had.
