#8: 100S - delta open, rotor 56 neos,
#9: 100S   - star connection, stator decogged,
     4x16 mags
#10: 100S - delta open , stator decogged,
     4x16 mags

NA: the lathe could not start it.

I have all the data in exel, but I was not able to upload this file.- much easier to read.

One interesting info here is you don"t need a complicated star- delta switch to change over just recify via a pair of 3-phase rectfier ( I used a pair of car alternators) and to switch from star to delta you just need an ordinary trible switch- opening the star connection.

Hi Carl

Yes the HTML in web pages isnt good at displaying table data unless you use tables, which isn't easy in a forum. Even a tab option would be nice. I am looking into a solution for this problem, its come up before when other members have tried to format data for others to see and it gets all screwed up.

One way to get around the problem, if you are any good with a paint program, is to take a screen shot of your excel table, crop it down to a nice image in your paint program, then upload it as a image.

Uploading files, they need to be zipped up. Assuming you are using Windows XP, Right click on your excel file and select "Send to compressed file". That will create a zipped up copy of your excel file, and the forum will let you upload zip files.

Hope that helps, but yes its a bit of a problem. If you like I can edit your posting to add the images of the tables?

Hi Carl,,Thanks for your efforts-- I have been interested in knowing what outputs are available--but every time I put a new configuration up ,,the wind goes on holidays for a month !!!

I tried to remove those small Neo magnets from the original white rotor ,but found they used a different glue and the magnets just broke to pieces-not like the ceramic's ,which came out nearly perfect.

Hope you have success with the spreadsheet posting ,thanks

Bruce
PS--are you close to me at Mt.Tamborine ,west of the Gold Coast ? I could bring some stuff around for you to look at ,Neo Rotor's.

Hey Carl, you can try the "Code" option to format your data better. eg

Stator 80SP 80SP 100SSP 100SSP 100SSP
#1 #2 #3 #4 #5
RPM
70 - - - - -
195 3.9 4.7 - 14.5 -
211 6 5.7 - 17.2 -
253 0.7 9.7 8.1 1.4 21
346 11 14 10.7 8.5 8.7
Its not perfect, but its better.

Just an example. You use the space key to format the page the way you want it. If you look at the bottom of the Post Reply section, you will see an option called Enable Forum Codes to format post, make sure thats ticked, and click on the Forum Codes to see all the formatting options, including the "Code" function. And remember there is the Preview Post button.
Hope that helps.
