Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

SOME VERY BASIC TESTING
I made a somewhat rough test bench with a 2 and one half electric motor.
This was driving a 1500 Watt Seeley Stepper Motor into a 24 volt system.
We used a Star Output with 3 wires out.

At 130 RPM we got 2 Amps at 25 volts
Comparing to a F and P 80S it is about the same. We all know that the 80S is voltage rich and Amps low and it saturates early.
However when compared to the 80SP The Seeley it is putting out much earlier than the 260 RPM required for this F and P

At 260 RPM which is where the 80SP starts to produce 24 volts we found the Seeley making 7 AMPS which is very good.

At 350 RPM I managed to get the shaft which goes thru the middle of the Seeley to go round as well. It was dark, cold and raining and I wished my engineering was like Bruces. All For Now Dennis L
