The box is packed and addressed to Vasi, I will struggle down to the Post Office with it tomorrow!

In it, there is a white/yellow rotor and a gray rotor, two kinds of stator (not sure which but they do appear slightly different), two shafts with the bearing retainer nuts, two plastic nuts for the rotors, one set of bearings in a bearing holder. Plus of course all the cards that Vasi's friends in Australia and New Zealand sent me for inclusion.

Hi Vasi

I have posted it!

Thanks to the generous contributions our friends made I was able to send it at "International Air Parcel" rate and should be delivered in maybe one or two weeks! I think this is better than ordinary parcel that would be more likely to get lost. If you need to collect it it weights 15kg which is quite a lot if you need to carry it a long way!

People sent me Australian and New Zealand dollars to a total of $233 dollars. The postage was $235! So many thanks to everyone!

Well I have to say I'm very happy with the results we got here, a big thanks to John for starting this and supplying the F&P parts for Vasi, you deserve a big pat on the back mate.

I bet Fisher and Paykel never expected a couple of their Smartdrive motors would end up as a windmill alternator in Romania

Well done guys, make me feel all warm in side. And I bet Vasi cant wait to get his parcel.

Yes, you know how it is when you wait for something...
And I am happy, of course! I will reply on "kiwijohn" topic when the box will arrive at my home (also with pictures - and with cards).

God bless you all.

Oh I hope it arrived safely! Can you take plenty of pictures to show us? I hope they do not charge you any duty, I wrote on the parcel that the goods are used machine parts and have no value, there is a letter inside that says the same thing.

Will you drive to the Post Office? The parcel weighs 15Kgs and is heavy if you have to carry it a long way!

Good luck at the Post office.

URRAAAAH!!!

Hi John,

The package is in my room. It was opened before I get there (classic) but everything is here:

- 2 stator (100 and 80)
- rotors
- 2 shafts with retainer nuts
- 1 bearing holder (complete)
- 2 plastic "things"

And of course an envelope with post cards.
No charges at all ().

The town is at 11 Km far away but I come back with a TAXI.

I will take plenty of pictures but please wait a day or two because my wife and daughter are in another town for medical control (but no big problems). I want to make pictures with F&P's , post cards and my entire family (group pictures).

But if you can't wait just let me know.

Thank you Guys for everything.

Yes very good, I was worried it might not make it.

There's a couple of F&Ps in Romania!

Cheers for everyone who made it possible by contributing for the postage.

Cheers for the postman who took it all the way to Vasi's town!
