hi everone: now i need some airfoil data for example FFA w-3 or Du serior ,if somebody have these ,please give me a copy ,i will very thanks for you . i am interest in winde turbine, and i don't kown how to compute the blade's chord and thickness . hope you reply !! fuhaizhang |

You can find a turbine calculator at the Warlock site, http://warlock.com.au/bladecalc-abstract.htm Now I did have a collection of cad files for most of the common airfoils, will see if I can find it. Glenn The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is right now. JAQ |

Hi grassfu, Here you can find a program (you need Java installed on your computer, not javascript) for airfoils. ![]() It have only few profiles but you can design your own, and simulate airflow... ![]() You can modify resulted airfoil and hit "Create airfoil" button again. Then you can import coordinates in Rhino. Mr. Bean have a tutorial on his site. Or wait for Glenn tutorials on his CNC site.
