Does the f&p stator need any weather protection?

Hi backcam

A coat of varnish on the stator coils and exposed steel laminations stops corrosion. It's also a good idea to paint the plastic hub, UV light will cause the plastic to break down quickly, depending on the model and plastic used. The white plastic is the most sensitive to UV.
