Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Looks impressive.

The more the better, but it really depends on keeping the balance in check. The higher you go the more strain on that bottom bearing. But if you can mount a bearing at the top, then you can go much higher.

Glenn, I was hoping to put two supports from ground to lower bearing, thus avoiding a top bearing. The lower bearing is really strong, with double roller bearings. From a farm wagon, old, heavy. Also I should like a way to calc theoretic power from this, any suggestions? Thanks.
